Who is responsible for your data
Keith Snell, trading as Keith Snell Piano Studio, 30 Marlborough Buildings, Bath BA1 2LY, is the data controller for the details you send through this website. You can contact him by telephone on 07580 663296 or by post at the address above.
What is collected
When you use the enquiry form, you send your name, email address, telephone number, your child's age, how much piano experience your child has, and anything you write in the message box.
Why it is collected
To reply to your enquiry, to telephone you about lessons, and, if you go on to enrol, to arrange the first meeting at the studio. The lawful basis is that you have asked to be contacted about lessons (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract), and Keith's legitimate interest in answering enquiries about his teaching.
Who sees it
Keith Snell. The form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions so they can be forwarded to Keith. No one else receives your details, and they are never sold or used for marketing.
How long it is kept
If you do not go on to take lessons, your enquiry is deleted within twelve months. If your child becomes a student, your details are kept for as long as they are a student and for a reasonable period afterwards for the studio's records.
Cookies and third parties
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The contact page shows a Google map of the studio's location. Loading that map may set Google cookies in your browser and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Current students use My Music Staff, a separate service, for registration, billing and the student portal. It has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the details held about you, ask for them to be corrected, or ask for them to be deleted. To do any of these, telephone or write to Keith at the details above. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
